The Bellingham Whatcom County Housing Authority (BWCHA) regularly reviews its policies, procedures and plans furthering the agency mission to provide quality, affordable housing for low-and moderate-income families, elderly households, and persons with disabilities through innovative resource development and responsible stewardship of housing and fiscal resources.
Bellingham/Whatcom County 2018 Agency Plans – Requests for
BWCHA is proposing changes to its 2018 Agency Plans with an anticipated
implementation date of January 1st, 2018. The new changes update
time we are seeking the input of BWCHA residents, community partners and
interested community members to provide feedback to the BWCHA Board of
Commissioners and Staff before changes are reviewed and approved by the BWCHA
Board of Commissioners.
comment period on the above Agency Plan changes will begin July 28, 2017 and
end on September 12, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. The Housing Authority will be
accepting written comments only.
Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the BWCHA
administrative office at 208 Unity Street in Bellingham. The meetings will begin at 1:00PM and 1:10PM
